The coach stands on the sled platform, grips the Reaction Bar, and manually pushes the pads forward at players, replicating a lineman coming out of their stance at the snap. Each pad can travel approximately 12 inches, offering a safe and controlled way to simulate blocking without the risk of locking and firing.

This versatile sled can be driven with the coach onboard or used traditionally without the coach. The unique U-shaped Escape Pads provide significant technique advantages, particularly for defenders working against double-team blocks. The large wing pad simulates a secondary blocker, allowing defenders to practice getting their elbow down and minimizing the offensive player's hands. Meanwhile, the front pad and opposite wing pad act as the primary blocker, challenging the defender to escape.

The Escape Pads encapsulate the player's arms, forcing inside hand and elbow contact while mimicking a hold. Players must fight their way out, developing critical blocking and escape techniques.
